About The Position

Panhandle Power Solutions (PPS) is seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist Location(s): In-Office/Hybrid (Destin, FL / Pensacola, FL / Wenatchee, WA)Key Duties & Responsibilities: Lead detailed post-award project evaluations, determining optimal approach for project execution, identifying and prioritizing material procurement efforts, and noting areas of special interest for field teams. Complete detailed Electrical Material Quantity Takeoffs to support project teams and material procurement efforts. Collaborate closely with project teams on generation of Bill of Material, ensuring accuracy, conformance to requirements / specifications, and project schedule requirements. Process purchase orders and work closely with Project Teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Ensure all purchased items comply with industry standards, applicable codes / regulations, and project specifications. Maintain procurement records, invoices, and supplier agreements in systems of record. As part of the Procurement team, track industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain developments. Qualifications & Skills: 10+ years’ direct experience in commercial electrical construction. Electrical Journeyman’s license required (any state, can be inactive). Strong verbal & written communication skills. Familiarity with electrical materials, components, best practices, and industry standards (UFC, NEC). High proficiency in Bluebeam or other quantity takeoff software preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications. Proficiency in Procore is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Kojo is preferred but not required. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks / projects. Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and manage budgets efficiently. Requirements

  • 10+ years’ direct experience in commercial electrical construction.
