At GHD we are looking for a new Electrical Power Intern to join the Engineering Design team at our Baton Rouge, LA office. In this role you will assist in research and designing of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Be part of the dynamic culture! Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or equivalent Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implement improvements and provide feedback on them.
• Use change management systems and protocols to provide routine support services.
• Carry out a range of solution development and engineering activities.
• Implement engineering solutions, under supervision, to provide feedback and contribute to validation of the design.
• Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
• Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as informal training and coaching.
