About The Position

This role is based in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a great entry level position for anyone that is looking to get into the skilled trades. Hours worked can be counted towards you journeyman electrician license. Design Solutions and Integration is a rapidly expanding company with over one hundred employees. Requirements

Experience working with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Must be willing to follow rigorous safety standards in a manufacturing environment
You will need to be able to lift heavy objects, walk, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and have good manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of electrical theory and wiring practices is preferred but not required
Ability to read technical diagrams and specifications is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical wiring panels according to product specifications and assembly diagrams
Install electrical components like switches, breakers and connectors into panels
Test wiring for continuity, resistance and voltage
Mark, label and inspect completed panels
