About The Position

A day in this role You roll into the West Chicagoland shop just before 8:00 AM, coffee in hand. By 8:15, you’re laying out components for a new control cabinet that will power a rental packaging machine. Using schematics and redlined prints, you mount terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, and drives, then cut, strip, label, and route every conductor with care. Midday, you perform continuity checks and assist with panel checkout. In the afternoon, you rework an existing panel—clean wiring, a few upgrades—and finish your day by tidying your bench and tools. It’s hands-on work, steady, and satisfying. About the company We’ve teamed up with a well-established, family-owned industrial equipment manufacturer known for rebuilding and customizing packaging machinery. The shop is adding a new panel pro to support their fleet of rental packaging machines. Why you’ll like it here Stable, growing company with consistent workload Fun, open, family-style shop culture Modern facility with unique perks Competitive pay with raises tied to performance No travel required If you’re looking for steady, hands-on electrical work with real advancement potential and a crew that values reliability, this is a great fit.
