About The Position

Brentwood is a solutions provider for highly diverse worldwide industries including automotive, medical packaging, cooling systems, stormwater management, and water & wastewater treatment. At Brentwood, we engineer and manufacture both custom and proprietary products ranging from sterile medical packaging to highly sophisticated water media systems. Our diverse capabilities and expertise in these industries have allowed us to experience continued growth both here in the United States and abroad for over 50 years. The Electrical Mechanical Engineer Intern will play a vital role in supporting the build of an electrical panel for the Martinsburg, WV facility. Electrical drawings will be provided, and the intern will assist in planning materials, ordering components, and developing an execution plan. The Photography Intern will gain hands-on experience in panel assembly and will travel with the AME team to Martinsburg to support project implementation. This internship is located in Reading, PA. Brentwood’s Internship program gives students the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world work experience aligned with their studies. Each summer we offer a variety of paid internships to college and university students in undergraduate programs.

Requirements

  • Full-time student in a 4-year (BA, BS) in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
  • Be legally authorized to work within the U.S.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational and planning skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Attend first day orientation
  • Full-time availability between June 1st- August 7th
  • Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and policies
  • Final Deliverable – Must prepare and present to management and leadership
