Electrical/ Mechanical Designer
About The Position
This position is for an Electrical & Mechanical System Designer located in Houston, TX 77073 (near IAH). The role requires 5 or more years of experience in both mechanical and electrical design, specifically for offshore rig housing structures. The designer will be responsible for managing the design package, providing redlines for corrections, and preparing designs in drawing format for submittal. The initial project duration is 30 days, with the potential for the position to become temp-to-hire for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, and the work is performed in the office.
Requirements
- 5 or more years experience in both electrical and mechanical design
- experience with CAD
- experience with Indenture
- experience with other design software
- Must pass background and drug screen
