As a Full-Time Industrial Electrical Mechanic at North Coast Container, you will be at the forefront of our manufacturing excellence, taking on an exciting hands-on role. Your key responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, such as bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance of our production equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, VFDs, and PLC I/O, while also installing and modifying control wiring across a range of voltages. Your expertise will extend to reading and red-lining electrical schematics and control drawings, as well as welding and fabricating as needed. By responding swiftly to breakdowns and documenting your work in our CMMS, you will play a vital role in minimizing downtime. Adhering strictly to LOTO, arc flash, and NFPA 70E safety standards, your contribution will be key to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Proven control wiring skills: running conduit, pulling wire, terminating wires, & building/modifying panels
  • Strong 480V/3-phase ,motor control, VFD, and PLC I/O troubleshooting (multimeter calibrator)
  • Ability to interpret and update control schematics
  • Welding/fabrication and shop tool experience
  • Able to work any shift(1st or 2nd) as well as overtime
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb, and work in confined spaces
  • Technical diploma
  • Journeyman card or equivalent experience required
