As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (EME), you will evaluate product designs and create the processes, tools, and procedures that power our global technical infrastructure. You will ensure that processes remain repeatable, controlled, and scalable and will collaborate with cross-functional engineers to define infrastructure needs and product specifications, ensuring every piece fits perfectly to maintain a seamless user experience. In this role, you will support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing and qualifying manufacturing technologies. You will be an expert with a track record of successfully scaling processes in collaboration with Contract Manufacturers (CM) and Joint Development Manufacturers (JDM). You will possess an extensive understanding of the tools and techniques required for high-caliber infrastructure products and will serve as a vital partner to product development teams, utilizing your industry expertise to conceptualize and implement advanced manufacturing techniques. By identifying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) opportunities, you will ensure the delivery of advanced products and efficient fulfillment chains. Your work will directly enable the software, hardware, and networking platforms that power all Google services globally. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
