About The Position

In this role you will be doing systems applications, software, mechanics, pneumatics, and power distribution. Develop required documentation, work instructions, and technician training materials. Collaborate with technicians to solve sophisticated electrical and electromechanical issues, providing clear and unambiguous corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of power distribution (PDU) systems and cable/harness design.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools.
  • Experience with electrical subsystem testing
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) experience.
  • Proficiency using an oscilloscope and standard EE diagnostic tools.
  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience; Advanced Degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of OrCAD , and LabVIEW testing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the materials team on product cost reduction initiatives, EOL (End‑of-Life) component replacement, manufacturing site relocation, and other operational engineering support needs.
  • Evaluate and select EOL replacements for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to approve EOL part replacements through the Waiver/Deviation process.
  • Work with Design Engineering and MDE to develop qualification and testing requirements for new or replacement components.
  • Test and qualify electrical components and assemblies and collaborate with customers to improve incoming material quality and acceptance criteria.
  • Generate documentation to support processes and participate in technician training activities (repeated behavior emphasized).
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team supporting an electrical subsystem in production environment.
  • Run Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and test data entry within the company’s quality database systems.
  • Work with engineering teams to coordinate new product releases, while learning architecture and requirements of next‑generation subsystems.
  • Present technical updates and project status to upper management via weekly reports and project review meetings.
  • Support domestic and international travel as needed.
