About The Position

Clean Tech is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that offers opportunities for advancement. Summary Repair and maintain the recycling Process Lines, Extruders, and Auxiliary equipment associated with recycling lines. Electrical troubleshooting, motors, chillers, conveyors, grinders, boilers, and any other equipment installed within Clean Tech.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year hands on electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot de-energized/live circuits, PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls, Motors, and Sensors
  • Ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective measures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wiring and designing of circuits (required)
  • Experience reading schematics/blueprints

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, troubleshoot and review machinery and equipment problems looking to implement corrective actions.
  • Operate and test equipment electrically and mechanically for performance and determine if repairs and scheduled maintenance are successful and ensures longevity of the repair.
  • Perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation, and application of equipment
  • Install, wire, or re-wire electrical devices, such as; contractors, overloads, photo eyes, solenoid valves, motors, relays, VFD's and heaters bands.
