Basic Job Functions:The Electrical Lead will be responsible for leading the electrical team, ensuring the group is prepared to execute, and coordinate with affected work groups to safely accomplish maintenance activities within a production environment. They will plan, set goals, and coach others in developing their technical and professional abilities. A major emphasis will be on coordinating electrical work related to projects, repairs and improving predictive and preventive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime and associated costs. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of hands on maintenance experience of electrical equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in electrical field
  • Experience planning and leading projects involving vendors and contractors
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Strong electrical knowledge encompassing PLCs, HMIs, AC & DC drives, hydraulics and power distribution
