About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Intern to work alongside licensed electricians on residential electrical projects in the Columbus, Ohio area. This internship provides hands-on experience in home electrical systems and is ideal for students or individuals pursuing a career as a residential electrician.

Requirements

Enrolled in or recently completed an electrical, technical, or trade school program (preferred)
Strong interest in residential electrical work
Basic understanding of electrical tools and safety practices is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, basements, and outdoor environments
Reliable transportation to residential job sites in and around Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

Assist electricians with residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
Support wiring of new homes, remodels, and service calls
Help install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and panels
Assist with conduit, cable pulling, and device trimming
Troubleshoot basic residential electrical issues under supervision
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Maintain tools, materials, and a clean job site
Learn to read and interpret residential electrical layouts and diagrams
Perform other related duties as assigned
