About The Position

Power Solutions International (PSI) is a leader in large gen-set packaging and enclosures. Our team manages the full lifecycle from application engineering and 3D design to structural fabrication, wiring and piping, sound and thermal management, code compliance, factory acceptance testing, and site support. With scalable production capacity and disciplined program management, PSI delivers repeatable quality and reliable performance on complex builds for mission-critical and industrial applications worldwide. Summary: Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Intern will be responsible for assisting the Electrical engineering team with drawings drafting, calculating cable size, creating as build drawings, support bench testing, and supporting engineering during first article build.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in/or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in electrical engineering or similar program.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD electrical or other design software.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Updating electrical drawings by changing old 3PI title block to PSI title block
• Work with engineering team on units what been shipped and revise drawings to AS BUILT revision.
• Create new E-Assemblies based on the engineering markup drawings.
• Create electrical blocks in AutoCAD.
• Support production regarding general questions.
