Requirements
- Participation in a course of study in Electrical Technology or equivalent
- GPA of 3.0 or better in Electrical Courses
- Written recommendation from advisor
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Completion of a safety course(s)
- Practical work experience
Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding of industrial safety.
- Work alongside Nucor Electrician performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the various control systems throughout the Rolling Mill & Melt shop
- Data collection for Arc Flash studies and CMMS implementation
