Covia is looking for a dynamic Electrical and Instrumentation Technician II who will have a positive impact on our team at our Hephzibah, GA location. The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing electrical power circuits, control systems, and instrumentation used in industrial manufacturing and plant operations. This role supports the reliability and performance of equipment across compressor stations, pump stations, production facilities, and measurement systems. The person in this role is also required to perform routine maintenance tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities: Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power circuits and equipment Maintain and support control, automation, electronic, and pneumatic systems Program, maintain, and modify programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing and assembly line processes Support instrumentation and measurement systems critical to plant operations Collaborate with process technicians, maintenance technicians, engineers, operations and contract partners to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities Operational Support Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor Provide operational support as needed to meet business and production requirements Backfill operations personnel when required due to business or operational needs Proactively assist operations personnel in daily activities to achieve organizational objectives Work Environment Industrial manufacturing and plant environments Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and automated systems Will require on-call support or flexible scheduling based on operational needs
