These Core Values include: Driven to Serve Absolute Integrity and Respect to All Teach, Learn & Grow We Will be Safe Industry Pioneer and Pacesetter Celebrate Hard Fought Success & Personal Growth Excellence Electrical Instrumentation Technician – Calibration Specialist Instrumentation Technicians must be vocationally trained in electronics, electricity and/or have job experience resulting in similar capabilities. The technician must have the ability to install, start-up, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair all measuring and monitoring instruments. The technician must also be able to calibrate, troubleshoot and repair instruments and systems provided by other suppliers with the appropriate manuals without assistance. With assistance, they must have the ability to understand the hydraulic, electrical and functional process required by the system as well as the theory of operation so to calibrate, diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and repair the electrical/instrumentation system. They also must be able to use all of the troubleshooting and diagnostic tools required for the instruments and systems on which they are working. The technician must be professional, have communication skills and have the ability to provide comprehensive computer generated field service reports. The technician must be able to use Smart devices such as phones, tablets and laptops and have the ability to use web based software applications. The technician shall wear Company uniforms that are clean and without holes or permanent stains. To be considered for this position, the applicant must pass an objective test and review of both technical and basic skills.

Responsibilities

  • install, start-up, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair all measuring and monitoring instruments
  • calibrate, troubleshoot and repair instruments and systems provided by other suppliers with the appropriate manuals without assistance
  • understand the hydraulic, electrical and functional process required by the system as well as the theory of operation so to calibrate, diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and repair the electrical/instrumentation system
  • use all of the troubleshooting and diagnostic tools required for the instruments and systems on which they are working
