The Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation EIA Technician performs highly skilled maintenance duties required to maintain plant, mine, packaging, and truck loadout electrical equipment and process control systems. Technicians will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibrate, configure and install electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation equipment. This will include low voltage systems, AC and DC systems, lighting, motors, starters, soft starters, VFD's, power supply wiring (including conduit), transformers, programmable controllers, process control systems, electrical components as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with Huber's Sustainability Management System within his/her sphere of influence. This may or may not include compliance with any air permits, wastewater permits, storm water permits, or other rules as presented to the employee as required.
