This Electrical Inspector position is seeking an experienced Colorado Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician for electrical inspections. A candidate should have a keen eye for detail, direct experience in the permitting, installation, and alteration of electrical work for new construction projects, ideally in both residential and commercial applications. The Electrical Inspector is responsible for performing technical inspection work throughout the county. This individual will inspect various structures (industrial, commercial, residential, etc.) to ensure compliance with building codes. The Electrical Inspector reviews form, to ensure compliance with codes. Failed inspections require this role to issue correction notices and stop-work orders, as well as explanations of correction notices and building codes to various officials, agencies and the public. This work also involves responding to complaints regarding potential building code violations. SCHEDULE: This position typically operates on a traditional 5-day workweek (Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm) in the field and in-office.
