We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Inside Sales Representative to join our Columbus team. In this role, you will collaborate with customers, vendor partners, and outside sales professionals to provide product expertise, responsive service, and solutions that help drive success across every partnership. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, automation, or inside sales, as well as motivated early-career sales professionals looking to build a long-term career in the industrial technology sector.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, electrical distribution, or industrial supply preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer requests
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or a pattern of continuing education preferred.
  • High degree of knowledge of electrical distribution operations and/or similar product knowledge; two or more years of experience in operations, counter sales or in the electrical distribution industry preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks at own initiative with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for customer accounts, providing product guidance, pricing, and order support
  • Preparing quotes and managing customer orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Supporting outside sales representatives with customer opportunities and project coordination
  • Sourcing non-stock products and collaborating with vendor partners and purchasing teams
  • Tracking open orders and expediting shipments to meet customer timelines
  • Providing product information and technical support for industrial electrical and automation solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or solutions that support customer operations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver a consistent and dependable customer experience
