About The Position

Fixatex Ltd is a family-run electrical services provider established in 2000, serving clients across London and the Southeast. They operate from their head office, warehouse, and purpose-built training centre in Hertford, delivering high-quality electrical services and supporting their employees' development. The company is seeking experienced Electrical Improvers, offering a strong pathway for career development with clear progression to a fully qualified Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer within a six-month period. Upon successful progression, the role transitions into a full-time, permanent position. The role covers South or West London.

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Accurate and excellent attention to detail
• Good practical skills and customer communication
• Positive attitude, reliability and good timekeeping
• 1-2+ years electrical experience
• L2/L3 Electrical Installations Diploma
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)
• Full UK driving licence
• Basic hand tools

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, and testing & inspection works under supervision
• Support the completion of EICRs and remedial works in line with current regulations
• Work safely and in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
• Follow instructions from the assigned Electrical Engineer and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Communicate professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
• Take part in company-provided training to support skills development
• Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by management
