About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Electrical Hardware Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and integration of advanced electrical platforms within complex electro-mechanical systems. In this position, you won’t just be designing circuit - you’ll define system requirements, drive multi-domain integration, and collaborate closely with firmware and systems engineering teams to bring intelligent equipment to life.    This is a strategic and technical role for engineers who thrive in cross-functional environments and are passionate about delivering reliable, scalable hardware solutions for embedded, connected systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in hardware systems engineering or embedded hardware development
  • Proven ability to translate high-level system requirements into detailed hardware architectures.
  • Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, PCB schematic development, and embedded system bring-up.
  • Skilled in debugging hardware/software interfaces using scopes, logic analyzers, and embedded tools.
  • Experience with integration of electrical hardware into complex systems, ideally involving motors, sensors, actuators, and connectivity modules.
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI design practices, thermal considerations, and regulatory testing.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • A strategic thinker who excels at articulating technical concepts and collaborating with diverse, cross-cultural teams.
  • Availability for regular onsite engagement in support of hardware testing and system validation.

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years in hardware systems engineering and embedded hardware design
  • Prior experience designing for forklifts, off-highway vehicles, or other rugged environments.
  • Exposure to C/C++ firmware development or firmware code reviews.
  • Experience with RF/antenna systems, telematics, or wireless module integration (GNSS, Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
  • Track record supporting regulatory compliance across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and decompose product requirements into clear, testable electrical system specifications.
  • Design robust hardware solutions including power systems, sensor interfaces, and communication buses (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Lead system-level integration, ensuring seamless coordination between hardware, firmware, and mechanical domains to meet performance, safety, and compliance targets.
  • Collaborate with embedded firmware teams to define hardware/Software interfaces, support board bring-up, and validate functional integration through joint debugging and test cycles.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, such as block diagrams, DFMEAs, ICDs, and verification plans.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, design risk assessments, and root cause investigations.
  • Support EMC, thermal, and regulatory validation, coordinating with compliance and test labs.
  • Champion continuous improvement in hardware development processes and configuration management to ensure quality and repeatability.
