About this role: The Electrical Supervisor oversees our Electricians and Generator Technicians and Installers and is responsible for the growth of the business sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in the residential electrical industry
  • 2+ years of Supervisor experience
  • Working knowledge of gas piping, electricity, plumbing
  • Strong supervisory, communications, computer, and mathematical skills
  • Great Attitude with a dedication to quality work
  • Customer service oriented
  • A valid driver’s license is required with a minimum of three years of driving experience is required
  • Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
  • The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.

  • Prefer experience and familiarity with Generators

Responsibilities

  • Drives profitable revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluates workload and schedules service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs.
  • Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down-time in job completion.
  • Generates reports and reviews reports with management.
  • Instructs crews on the proper use of materials and quality workmanship.
  • Reviews payroll records to ensure that employees are paid properly.
  • Ensures that employees have proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained.
  • Assists the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate skillset selection for the type of service.
  • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements.
  • Provides on-the-job training and support to employees.
  • Manages and develops our staff, which may include some or all of the following: hiring, terminating, and disciplining of employees, rewards and recognition of performance and customer service, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective production.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
