This Position reports to: Service Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead all on-site activities of an assigned small to mid-size site or sub-project to ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Each day, you will lead the site team allocated to the project, follow main guidelines, and allocate tasks. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. The work model for the role is hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for: Receiving the assigned site area from the customer or Site Manager or Project Manager and do the handing over to the end customer on completion day. Applying basic project scheduling techniques on ongoing projects and managing schedule risks proactively to avoid future schedule deviations with On Time Delivery impact. Establishing a baseline to manage the project schedule, monitoring and documenting progress for all site and other activities continuously. Closing all punch list items, the handover of installed equipment, as-built documentation, material reconciliation, site de-mobilization, etc., and receiving the final certification from the customer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Power generation or Electronics is an asset.
  • More than two years of experience in field services preferred, working as field service engineer with Power Generation and Power Electronics experience.
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Power Electronics equipment.
  • Knowledge of servicing industrial equipment.
  • Strong Software understanding.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and to the United States of America and maintain a valid driver’s license.
