In this role, you will support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems within a mission-critical facility. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and site leadership teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient performance of electrical infrastructure. This position requires a strong safety mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to respond effectively to operational needs.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, panels, and facility electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with LOTO procedures, safe state verification, and electrical safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in documenting maintenance activities and updating operational systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills when working with engineers, vendors, and site leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment with strong attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in accordance with client guidelines and site procedures.
  • Create, review, and upload documentation for electrical equipment within the client’s operational systems (e.g., CMMS or asset management systems).
  • Conduct electrical preservation activities on non-operational equipment to ensure system integrity and readiness for energization.
  • Perform safe state verification, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and zero-energy checks prior to maintenance or operational activities.
  • Escalate vendor-required maintenance or preservation activities to site leadership (FFO) to coordinate vendor support and site access.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot electrical issues and review maintenance or preservation procedures.
  • Respond promptly to electrical alarms, faults, and equipment shutdowns; perform initial diagnostics and escalate issues as required.
  • Conduct routine electrical rounds and readings on panels, switchgear, and facility systems to ensure proper operation and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and system updates within site systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying reliability risks and maintenance optimization opportunities.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
