About The Position

Electrical Engineering Modeler The Opportunity: As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling and analyzing large electric power networks. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to provide advanced engineering solutions and recommendations for the U.S. military. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the Department of Defense. Our team develops tools and methods that will be used to analyze and model complex infrastructure systems. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer who understands the design and operation of electric power systems with a solid background in power system modeling, to help us design and develop power system models and solutions. On our team, you’ll c ond uct all-source intelligence analysis and modeling of electric power generation and distribution systems using geospatial and power system modeling tools and sof tware. You’ll directly impact the Department of Defense by providing solutions to complex military problems. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. Requirements

  • Experience with applying electric power system analysis, modeling, and simulation tools in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of electric power system design and operation
  • Ability to work as part of a team, research and analyze technical modeling inputs, and present findings to clients
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using PowerWorld or Power System Simulator for Engineers
  • Experience working in the Defense or Intelligence community
  • Knowledge of Defense or Intelligence data sources and analytic tools
  • Ability to use ArcGIS and analyze geospatial data
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
