Strategic Impact: Power uprates are rapidly becoming a cornerstone of U.S. energy policy, driven by recently passed legislation aimed at accelerating clean energy deployment. This role places you at the center of that transformation. Power uprates are the quickest and most cost-effective way to bring more nuclear power on-line Career Springboard: With the U.S. targeting a fourfold increase in nuclear capacity—from ~100 GW today to 400 GW by 2050—power uprates are anticipated to only contribute approximately 8 GW. To meet this ambitious goal, the industry will soon shift focus to designing and constructing new reactors, including advanced and small modular reactor technologies. This role positions you to transition seamlessly into those future projects, giving you a front-row seat to the next generation of nuclear development
