Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team at the Wilkes-Barre office. This internship offers hands-on experience in electrical design and analysis for real-world projects, while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. You’ll gain exposure to industry standards, innovative solutions, and practical applications that support sustainable infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering program from an accredited university or college
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic computer software
  • Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role

Nice To Haves

  • Revit knowledge or experience
  • Previous AutoCAD experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, engineering studies, and designs for project
  • Assists in the development of probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the department
  • Prepares designs and plans under close supervision using computer-aided design and engineering software packages or conventional methods
  • Prepares design computations and quantity estimates under the direction of an experienced designer
  • Performs occasional drafting
