About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering practices and contribute to the development of new Sigma Defense products. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong interest in CAD/CAM design. The candidate should have a basic understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. Requirements

Experience with Microcontrollers, Spice Simulations, CAD/CAM software is preferred.
Some familiarity with circuit and PCB simulation software. (KiCAD, LTSpice, etc.).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering.
Ideally second semester sophomore and above.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of manufacturing drawings to ensure the document contains all pertinent information the manufacturer needs to successfully complete the job.
Collaborate with the engineering and production team to understand current challenges faced in the production process and offer solutions that produce a better-quality product, increase assembly efficiency, and/or reduce overall cost of the product.
Collaborate with the engineering team to provide project updates, new ideas, and improvement on existing products.
