This position will hybrid at the Aguadilla site. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico during the Co-Op period. Relocation is not offered.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line.
  • Gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Gain knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
  • Completes drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
  • Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.
