This is a seven-month CO-OP beginning June 2025 (Summer/Fall Session) and the work will be completed at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico site. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. The Puerto Rico Digital Technology Center is seeking motivated and curious Digital Technology Co-Op students to join our growing team. This role offers early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple Digital Technology domains while supporting real-world initiatives delivered in collaboration with global Digital Technology teams. As a Co-Op, you will work alongside experienced DT professionals across multiple hubs and contribute to projects that may include software development, data analytics, digital engineering tools, automation solutions, connected factory systems, cloud platforms, and process improvement initiatives.This is an opportunity to learn how digital capabilities support business operations at scale while building foundational technical and professional skills within a globally connected environment.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (for example Python, C-Sharp, Java, or JavaScript) or exposure to relevant technical tools/platforms
  • Foundational problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • Interest in digital technologies, data, automation, cloud platforms, or engineering systems
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or structured project environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (for example AWS or Azure), data tools, or engineering software systems
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools
  • Relevant academic or project experience

Responsibilities

  • Support development, testing, and maintenance of digital solutions across various DT domains
  • Assist with software development, automation scripts, data analysis, dashboards, or system configurations depending on assignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in team ceremonies and project reviews within an Agile or structured delivery framework
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process standardization activities
  • Learn and apply best practices in version control, cybersecurity awareness, data integrity, and system reliability
  • Engage in professional development activities within the PR Digital Technology community
