Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Hands‑on experience with SolidWorks Electrical (schematics, panel layouts, routing, or similar)
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently based on project needs
  • Experience working in a scrum or agile engineering setting
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and cross‑functional teams
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain electrical designs using SolidWorks Electrical
  • Collaborate within a scrum/agile engineering environment, contributing to sprint planning, standups, and iterative design cycles
  • Support cross‑functional teams with design updates, documentation, and technical problem‑solving
  • Participate in on‑site engineering activities, customer discussions, and project reviews
  • Travel frequently to customer locations to support project execution
  • Ensure designs meet safety, manufacturability, and compliance expectations
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
  • Contribute to projects that impact communities in Brooklyn Center, New Hope, Fridley, and Coon Rapids, and the greater Greater Minneapolis metro
