We have an opening for an Electrical Engineer to play a key role in advancing next‑generation weapons technologies in direct support of the nation’s strategic deterrent. In this position, you will help mature critical technologies driving Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) development, contribute to analog and digital design efforts, including verification and validation of complex mixed‑signal systems. You will join our Microelectronics development team working on groundbreaking projects at the forefront of nuclear weapon engineering and stockpile modernization. Our work spans the full lifecycle, from concept and prototype through qualification in relevant environments, providing you with the opportunity to see your designs transition into deployed systems. This position is in the Defense Technologies Engineering Division (DTED), within the Engineering Directorate Depending on your assignment, this position may offer a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. You may have the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.
