Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related Science and Engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years designing electronic circuit boards in a process-controlled environment.
  • Experience with aerospace or other highly regulated development processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aerospace standards DO-160, DO-254 and MIL-STD-704/461 is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of digital and analogue circuit board design and product lifecycle management.
  • An innate ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems with a creative and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in electronic design tools (e.g., ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice) and a deep understanding of circuit design and analysis.
  • Understanding of EMI mitigation design concepts.
  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals and drive for technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
  • Turn architectural concepts to electrical designs and develop the associated low-level requirements.
  • Document and present design performance and acceptance criteria in design reviews and discussions with customers.
  • Work with trusted technical expert to solve complex hardware problems through analysis, simulation and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Engage in special projects that push the boundaries of airborne electronics.
  • Document lessons learned and work with mentors to create guidance documents and best practices.
