About The Position

What you will be doing: Collaborate with the Management and Engineering teams to create requirements for new factory automation systems or modifications to existing systems. Design and schematically capture all electrical circuits of a new factory automation system or modifications to an existing system. Use Broadridge-approved CAD tools to design all electrical subsystems, including panels, enclosures, and cabling. Produce complete assembly documentation for new subsystems using CAD tools. Select PLC components per Broadridge standards and integrate them into new electrical subsystems where necessary. Participate in the programming of PLC components in cooperation with the software development team. Ensure maximum safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of new electrical designs. Support and advise the Technician team during the assembly of new systems. Participate in the ongoing improvement of the design environment and processes, including research and evaluation of new CAD tools and hardware diagnostic instruments. Offer technical support and training to staff. Establish and maintain a working relationship with all vendors providing electrical components and technical services.
