About The Position

Assisting in the installation, calibration, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and industry standards Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components to maintain optimal functionality and reliability Analyzing technical documentation and engineering schematics to support accurate setup and modification of system configurations Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to address system issues, implementing design improvements, and sustaining operational readiness Maintaining comprehensive records of maintenance activities, test results, and corrective actions to facilitate continuous improvement and regulatory compliance FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1

Requirements

  • Familiarity with electrical design and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE) to enhance system analysis and validation
  • Exposure to modern control systems and automation technologies for process improvement and troubleshooting efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements
  • Effective communication skills to support seamless collaboration with engineering teams and end-users
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, PSpice) to enhance design efficiency and system validation
  • Demonstrated leadership ability or mentorship in guiding junior engineering staff through technical challenges and process improvements
  • Experience in applying process improvement methodologies to streamline maintenance and troubleshooting activities
  • Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic software or data logging tools to monitor and optimize electrical system performance
