About The Position

An Electrical Engineer, or Electronics Engineer, is responsible for developing electrical devices and testing them for safety and efficiency. Their duties include managing the manufacturing process for new electrical equipment, using design software to produce schematics and overseeing the installation process of their designs.

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, costs, time limitations, planning and related technical data to determine feasibility of product proposal.
• Prepare designs, including calculations, drawings, and bills of material for release to manufacturing.
• Devise new approaches to problems encountered and participate in the research and development of new products.
• Interface with all shop personnel, engineering, sales, quality assurance, and purchasing to meet the customer requirements.
• Interface with customer on technical changes to the job and revise job requirements
• Check designs, including drawings, calculations and bills of materials originated by others.
• Responsible for investigating and correcting product quality deficiencies.
