About The Position

The Electrical Engineer will support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and modification of electrical systems. You'll work under the Electrical Manager to maintain and develop advanced electrical engineering methods, support existing equipment, and contribute to new equipment and process development.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years with AC/DC motor drives and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of 480V-25kV power systems, NFPA 70E, OSHA
• Experience with PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and networking
• Strong problem-solving and Microsoft Office skills
• Local travel (Western PA), occasional weekends/on-call
• All applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot motor controls, transformers, solenoids, and related systems
• Modify systems to correct functional issues
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical failures
• Create wiring diagrams, layouts, and specs
• Lead electrical testing and recommend upgrades
• Oversee installations and support new production projects
• Identify and implement product/process improvements
• Support automation and quality enhancements
