About The Position

We are seeking a Mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects for our Woodland Hills office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and/or high-rise facilities. The mission of this role is to play a key role in this 12-person electrical group’s capabilities in healthcare, education, data centers, and other target markets. They will help us execute increasingly diverse and sophisticated projects while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and innovation.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Power Engineering from U.S. University.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • California EIT (required)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (required)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with multi family, commercial, institutional and healthcare projects.
  • Knowledge of Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code (required)
  • Microsoft office application (advanced proficiency).
  • Excellent time Management and people skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Registration as E.I.T. (preferred)
  • OSHPD/ HCAi Experience is (preferred)
  • SKM and/or ETAP programs are (preferred).
  • PVsyst. (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various MEP design projects.
  • Perform design tasks assigned by department manager.
  • Perform complete construction documents to include drawings, power system studies and specification documentation.
  • Perform and execution of designs including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans and equipment layout.
  • Perform and execution of lighting design both interior and exterior, calculate foot-candle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external customers and perform engineering design and construction phases including but not limited to reviewing shop drawings submittals, responding to RFI’s, and addressing AHJ comments.
  • Attend site visits as needed.
