Requirements

  • Master / Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (M.E. / B.E. / B. Tech) in Electronics and communication Engineering.
  • Specialized knowledge in design and development of analog & digital circuit design, evaluating circuit operation, design specification and system architectures.
  • Expertise in understanding design topologies, evaluate and implement new circuit designs and enhancing the existing circuits, EMI/EMC tests, Functional test, ESD tests, preparation of engineering technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing technical information.
  • Sound experience in customer specific standards, policies, process, training, and delivery approaches.
  • Established working experience in design, development & troubleshooting on measurement & control system engineering designs.
  • Well defined process-oriented component selection, datasheet creation and part list modernizing, analyze component technical issues and develop appropriate resolutions.
  • Participate in system design reviews of test plan, design document and recommend improvements.
  • Identify technical risks, challenges and propose action plans.
  • Supports in integrating modules to existing systems, 3500 rack integration software installation and perform integrating testing.
  • Preferably sound expertise in electronic design automation and testing tools requirement
  • Schematic & PCB Entries: Altium 15.0.15, ORCAD 10.3, PADS power PCB and Allegro
  • Gerber Viewers: GC Preview and CAM viewer
  • Adobe Acrobat Writer: Adobe Acrobat PDF professional and Nitro PDF professional
  • Laboratory equipment’s: CRO, Supplies, Spectrum Analyzer, HALT, ESD, EMI/EMC

Responsibilities

  • Develop sensor-based signal conditioning and data acquisition system in measurement & control system designs specifically for analog, digital and mixed signal circuits.
  • In depth knowledge of measurement and control solutions design, proficient in selection and sizing of components, form fit functional alternate component identification, technical evaluation, testing, creating engineering change management, material creation and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Developing measurement and control system product architecture, handling systems and associated hardware subsystem such as: Microcontroller, Microprocessor, FPGA, DSP based design, memory interfaces, power supplies, displays, processors and communication modules.
  • Preparing detail design document, system block diagram, process flow map, technical specifications, technical proposal, technical estimation, design checklist and writing test plan.
  • Understand the existing circuit operational performance and enhance the design to surface mount technologies by meeting the quality and functional requirements.
  • Understanding and familiarization of the customer product and process requirements staring from feasibility analysis to till implementation of the design and support for product release.
  • Testing and troubleshooting of prototype build, vendor interaction, component assembly, board bring up, functional and system testing.
  • High speed printed circuit design by keeping up to date experience in electronic design automation tools such as Allegro, Altium, Mentor Graphics pads & OrCAD.
  • Experience in PCB layout designs including high dense component placement, routing recommendations, layer stack up arrangements, guidelines and constraints, PCB surface finish selection for high frequency designs.
  • Generate design by creation of electronic component libraries, layout design by footprint creation per IPC standards and simulation of board thermal performance and solutions.
  • Understand and ensure the compliance with product environments, hazardous area approval standards, safety regulations and product certifications.
  • Estimate technical challenges and working to solve issues arising during the product design, testing, development and assist with product regulatory requirements of – IEC60601-1 (General Electrical safety) and IEC60601-1-2 (EMI & EMC requirement) testing.
  • Monitoring quality and safety of products, writing technical datasheets and product manual.
  • Working very thoroughly with products: vibration monitor, blade health monitor, refreshes system design, tachometer modules, process requirements and deliveries to end customer.
  • Attending technical training, preparing project case studies, project training materials, business case technical proposals and submit value added technical presentation to customer.
