About The Position

Electrical Engineer Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide supportive services for our government client. Primary Responsibilities: Support pre-award activities by gathering customer requirements and developing technical documentation for design and construction projects. Assist with developing statements of work, technical requirements, design instructions, and parametric cost estimates. Provide technical support during project planning, design, and construction phases. Review design and construction deliverables for technical accuracy, completeness, schedule compliance, and regulatory alignment. Participate in technical meetings by preparing presentations, agendas, and meeting minutes. Develop technical reports, project status updates, and internal management reports in electronic format. Evaluate contractor work products, site data, analyses, and reports for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 government background investigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) (US). Or comparable.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience preparing plans, solutions, and electrical designs for facility and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with U.S. design and construction codes and standards.
  • Working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with NEXGEN IT system.
  • Experience preparing and drafting DD 1391s and DD 1354s.
  • Experience supporting DoD agencies.
