About The Position

General Responsibilities: Research, plan, and design electrical and/or electromechanical products in the context of gas and electric buses. Direct and oversee the fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of electrical products and systems. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans. Apply knowledge to make appropriate recommendations to modify designs or repair equipment as needed. Research, analyze, and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and vendor data. Research, program, and modify automotive engine control units for special use cases. Ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent organization.
  • Must have proven multitasking skills and can work under extreme pressure.
  • Must have excellent analytical and computational skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on engineer with a strong interest in practical experience with electrical vehicles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Background in 12V vehicle systems or automotive related electronics.
