About The Position

As an R&D Electrical Engineer in New Product Development for Biomedical Imaging & Therapeutic Ultrasound, you will design and advance medical ultrasound transducers in Reedsville, PA. You will help move concepts to product release and support the company’s mission to deliver better care for more people with cutting‑edge AI-enabled systems. Your role: Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and prototypes for new ultrasound transducers. Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for integrated product solutions. Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Altium Designer, or Eagle) for circuit and PCB design. Conduct feasibility studies for new technologies and product concepts. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Perform laboratory experiments and simulations to validate concepts. Design and execute test plans to ensure product reliability, safety, and compliance. Analyze test data and iterate designs to resolve issues. Work with quality assurance to meet regulatory and industry standards. Team up with production, marketing, and sales departments to align product features with customer needs. Support documentation for manufacturing handoff and regulatory submissions. Seek ways to enhance existing product lines for reliability, cost, and performance. Remain updated on latest trends and best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements

  • You have a BS degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering, contributing as an individual contributor in hardware development projects.
  • You have strong skills in electrical design principles, circuit fundamentals, analog/mixed-signal and digital designs, with bonus experience in design reliability techniques such as DFSS, Risk Analysis, DFMEA, and DFM and familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., eMatrix, Windchill, SAP, Agile), proficient in electrical CAD tools (e.g., DxDesigner, Cadence, Altium).
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills that support cross-functional teamwork and effective documentation.
