About The Position

You will be part of the global Philips Ultrasound team building life-saving ultrasound systems used to improve health care around the world. Relevant stakeholders include internal customers and healthcare professionals using our products. Your role: Assemblers work in small teams to manufacture parts with highly complex product structures and multiple sequential operations. To be successful you must be able to handle small, delicate parts to larger pieces that snack together. Implements quality checks based on provided instructions and specifications defined by the company, to ensure product integrity and adherence to standards. Operates a set of machines and production equipment, ensuring safety and following prescribed procedures and guidelines Monitors output quality to identify and address any faulty products, including discarding or remanufacturing as necessary. Documents and records of daily production activities to facilitate performance analysis and reporting on cell performances in standup meetings. Follows standard procedures and guidelines, promptly recognizing and communicating any issues or abnormalities to appropriate personnel while prioritizing workplace health and safety. Continuous improvement is expected; you will be asked to participate in projects as a team member in the development of skills, talents, and teamwork to support improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Medical Devices Manufacturing in a highly regulated environment, including experience using a Microscope or equivalent.
  • Reliability, detail orientation, effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville, PA.
