TEAM OVERVIEW: Applied Materials’ AGS System Engineering team is searching for an intern to join our team in Summer 2026. The intern will join PCBA design team in Santa Clara. Job role is to work on PCBA design and reverse engineer board. Focus is on board debugging / reverse engineering/ designing / simulation of the new design and working on board design.

Requirements

  • Student must be pursuing a Master's degree program in Electrical or Computer engineering, or related field
  • Hands on experience with micro controller / FGPA programming.
  • Familiar with Analog design, OrCAD / Altium Pspice / Any other circuit simulation software
  • Board Design / debugging
  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

  • Work with team on PCBA design for board design / reverse engineering.
  • Work on CPCI protocol for FPGA programming and circuit design
  • Designing PCBA in OrCAD using the latest design standards.
