Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program at an accredited university and returning to the program after the completion of the internship.
  • Majors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related major.
  • Has successfully demonstrated application of machine learning and data processing using Python.
  • Experience utilizing signal processing techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Students pursuing a master's or PhD degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools for processing large volumes of data, interfacing with Data Lake.
  • Design algorithms to identify abnormalities in power system data.
  • Develop tools to derive classification and location information from data
  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Follow best development practices and work in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in peer code reviews.
  • Create and present a team report at the end of the project.
