About The Position

The Electrical Engineer II will join our High Voltage Power Supply Design team in High Bridge, NJ. This role focuses on designing, developing, and sustaining electronic circuits for high voltage DC power supplies. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Responsibilities include new product design, sustaining engineering, troubleshooting, and supporting legacy systems. Experience bringing new products into and through production is highly desirable. High voltage experience and familiarity with project documentation are preferred. This position requires adaptability, willingness to learn legacy MRP systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analog and digital circuit design and analysis skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience using lab tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and safety requirements.
  • Experience in sustaining engineering and supporting products through production.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn legacy systems and adapt to evolving processes.

Nice To Haves

  • High voltage experience preferred; power conversion knowledge desirable.
  • Project documentation experience desirable

Responsibilities

  • Design and modify high voltage DC power supplies (up to 500kV) and related components.
  • Perform circuit analysis, SPICE modeling, breadboarding, and testing.
  • Collaborate with PCB layout, mechanical design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transition of new products into production.
  • Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products, including failure analysis and design improvements.
  • Conduct compliance and reliability testing; generate technical reports and engineering change notices.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and components.
  • Support project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Learn and utilize legacy MRP systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
