Requirements

  • Electrical Circuit Design: Proficient in designing and analyzing electrical circuits using industry standard tools.
  • Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documents and reports.
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve standard electrical system issues following established procedures.
  • CAD Software: Proficient in using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for electrical schematics and layouts.
  • Problem Analysis: Skilled in analyzing routine technical problems to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicates straightforward information and collaborates with team members.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and safety regulations relevant to electrical engineering.
  • Project Support: Capable of supporting project tasks and adhering to deadlines within standardized procedures.
  • Technical Software Proficiency: Familiar with tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar for electrical engineering applications.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: Strong foundation in mathematical principles relevant to electrical engineering applications.
  • 4-year bachelor BS degree
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Electrical Design: Supports senior engineers in developing electrical systems and components by preparing drafts and technical drawings.
  • Conduct Testing and Troubleshooting: Performs routine tests on electrical equipment and identifies basic issues following established procedures.
  • Maintain Documentation: Updates and organizes technical documents, manuals, and reports to ensure accurate records of projects and processes.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Works with other engineers and technicians to support project goals and ensure alignment with technical specifications.
  • Implement Standard Procedures: Applies company guidelines and standard practices to carry out assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
