About The Position

If you love seeing your electrical designs come to life in real facilities—and want to work on projects that keep large-scale manufacturing running—this role is for you. We’re looking for an Electrical Construction Project Engineer who can partner with engineering and construction teams to deliver medium- and low-voltage electrical projects across multiple plant locations. You’ll play a key role in supporting building construction, facility upgrades, and utility modifications for active industrial sites. From concept to commissioning, you’ll help bring projects online safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical design standards, and NFPA 70E
  • Experience coordinating or managing projects in industrial manufacturing or construction
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years in consulting engineering (electrical focus)
  • 3–5 years in construction project/site management
  • Experience supporting active manufacturing facilities

Responsibilities

  • Own the electrical portion of projects from early planning through final startup and closeout.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project scope and specs
  • Support electrical design studies for facility and process utilities
  • Coordinate detailed design packages with consulting engineering firms
  • Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials
  • Oversee construction execution, including: Cost and timeline estimates Final design coordination Bidding and contractor selection Contract and change management Installation, commissioning, and startup Final documentation and project closeout
  • Help coordinate other trades on-site as needed (mechanical, civil, etc.)
  • Support plant shutdowns and major installations when required
