OPEN JOB: Electrical Engineer 3, Mission Critical LOCATION: Tulsa, Oklahoma SALARY: $101,000 to $126,000 Relocation Assistance Available Bonus Eligible Interview Travel Reimbursed Industry: Construction & Trades Job Category: Engineering - Electrical KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Develops budgetary M/E estimates, based upon program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating system. Assists in the review of mechanical and electrical options as part of the preconstruction process and completes systems analysis for select projects. Develops the mechanical and electrical scopes of work used to coordinate during the bid process. Assists in the completion of bid analysis and provides input during the subcontractor selection process. Assists in developing sequencing requirements of various systems and providing solutions to meet the schedule requirements. Gains knowledge of design documents in order to identify potential quality problems to assist in developing constructability review reports. Performs job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality and timely manner. Assists with the shop drawing/submittal process to comply with the contract documents. Assists with the commissioning process including developing pre-functional checklists, functional testing procedures and actual functional testing. ME ENGINEER 3 Role Description - M/E ENGINEER 3 In addition, this position will be responsible for the following: Completes increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. Develops budgetary M/E estimates, based upon program and schematic design information. Reviews mechanical and electrical options, completes systems analysis, recommends best system for the project and provides value engineering suggestions. Coordinates the mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bid process. Develops sequencing requirements of various systems and provides solutions to meet the schedule requirements. Provides scheduling input during projects. Reviews design documents and identifies potential quality problems. Helps develop quality control programs. Performs job inspections at various times in the project to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality manner. Develops pre-functional checklists and functional testing procedures. Verifies contractor's performance of functional test. Reviews and approves shop drawings prior to submitting to design team. Generates and issues the Commissioning Plan for approval to the appropriate parties. Verifies deficiencies are corrected and submits commissioning documentation to owners. Provides mentoring to less experienced co-workers. Creates M/E tools and innovative solutions to continuously improve processes and work products.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
5+ years construction and/or engineering experience (Preferred).
Successful completion of company training and role-specific professional development coursework, within required timeframe (Required).
Successful completion of OSHA 10 training, within required timeframe (Required).

Nice To Haves

Successful completion and maintenance of First Aid Certification, CPR (Preferred).
Current valid driver's license (Preferred).
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (Preferred).
Successful completion of the Professional Engineer exam (Preferred).
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Preferred).
Participation in local professional affiliation or society within your discipline (Preferred).
