Check out IRD's website at www.irdproducts.com A person hired for this position will primarily be assembling IRD's Lexseco Core Loss Testers and accelerometers which is very much like panel building. They will also be cross training into assembly of other equipment which could also include industrial electronics. A person with experience in point-to-point wiring or electronics is extremely helpful. Two year Associates degree in electronics or related field, preferred, will consider individuals with 3 + years of electronic experience or electrical experience. Excellent manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination and excellent attention to detail are required. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve helpful in this position. Assists with electromechanical equipment assembly, instrument and parts assembly, including use of soldering iron, oscilloscope and other test equipment. This is a hands on position. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Must be able to read both electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Must be dependable and flexible with job duties
  • Must be willing to work full time (hours 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday)
  • Must be willing learn and grow with the company
  • Excellent dexterity skills a must

Nice To Haves

  • Two year Associates degree in electronics or related field, preferred, will consider individuals with 3 + years of electronic experience or electrical experience
  • A person with experience in point-to-point wiring or electronics is extremely helpful
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve helpful in this position
  • Previous Lean Manufacturing experience very helpful
  • 3 years of industrial experience preferred
  • Associates degree in electronics preferred
